AS ‘UniCredit Bank’ started its business in Latvia in 1996 under the name AS ‘Vereinsbank Rīga’. Within rebranding the bank has expanded its operations in the Baltic region, creating a Pan-Baltic bank with branches in all three Baltic countries. UniCredit Bank is headquartered in Riga, and operates through two branches in Lithuania and Estonia.
The main focus of AS ‘UniCredit Bank’ is corporate banking, the bank provides banking services to large corporations, and small and medium size enterprises, as well as to individuals primarily in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The bank offers account management, cash management, lending, trade finance and treasury services. The bank is also developing services to small and medium enterprises and, in co-operation with SIA ‘UniCredit Leasing’, is offering leasing services such as equipment, commercial transport, car, full service leasing services, insurance products.
Also, the bank provides various services consisting of account management, payment, credit cards, MasterCard Gold, cash management, and interbanking services, and provides finance for real estate products. Additionally it offers consumer loans, credit cards and mortgages to individuals.
